Security & trust

Student, family and financial records are among the most sensitive data a school holds. This page explains, plainly, how EduCore protects them today and what is on our roadmap.

A separate database for every school

Each school workspace runs on its own database. Your students’ and families’ records are never stored in tables shared with other schools, which keeps backups, exports and deletion clean and contained.

Access you control

Roles and permissions decide who sees and does what, down to school and branch. Staff can protect their account with two-factor sign-in.

A complete audit trail

Changes to records are logged with who, what and when. Financial documents cannot be edited once posted — corrections are made with reversing or credit documents, as auditors expect.

Protected credentials

Sensitive settings such as messaging and integration credentials are stored encrypted, and every third-party connection goes through a dedicated, replaceable adapter.

Controlled support access

When our support team needs to look at your workspace, access is time-limited, clearly shown in your workspace and recorded in our audit log.

On our roadmap

A record of who viewed grades, finance and student records, single sign-on, an independent penetration test and in-country hosting where the law requires it. We will list certifications here only once we hold them.

Report a security issue

If you believe you have found a vulnerability, please contact us through the form on our contact page and start your message with “Security”. We will acknowledge your report and keep you updated.
